With the covid-19 coronavirus running rampant throughout the world, many countries have implemented quarantine measures to keep their people safe.
The Sapien Wallet team has also been affected by these changes, having to work remotely as of March 16th, right after moving to our new office, here in Kyiv.
So with that, we just wanted to give you, our audience, a quick update of what has been going on behind the scenes and what to expect in the upcoming months.
MVP Development - MVP development is still underway and a working MVP that can be downloaded on Android smartphones can be expected in late April. Users will be able to send and receive Sapien Cash as well as leave a post-transaction rating and feedback. Further announcements will be made this month to give you a more detailed update of our MVP release.
Sapien Wallet Bounty - The Sapien Wallet bounty is still running and this is a great opportunity for users to contribute to our project in exchange for Sapien Cash. As mentioned above, Sapien Cash will be used as a currency on our light wallet application. Despite some hiccups with the contest website, it is up and running and users will be able to participate in the bounty here.
Sapien Wallet ETO - Because of the coronavirus, some delays have been caused and this is forcing us to have to postpone the date of our ETO to a more suitable date. Having said that, we are still planning to have our ETO continue and have every intention of making it a home-run. Please stay tuned for updates about our ETO which will be announced on our social media and our website blog.
The Team - The team is working remotely as of right now, every morning a scrum call is held where the team is set goals and updates by every team member are given. We pride ourselves in having a team that can work as efficiently at home as we do in the office. Luckily, all members of the Sapien Wallet team are healthy and none of us has contracted the coronavirus. We will remain in quarantine and work remotely for as long as it is necessary, complying with government policies.
We hope that everyone is taking extra precautions during this difficult time and are staying inside and staying safe. The community is very important to us as a company and we would like nothing more than to see that our community is safe and secure.
